Lol...HBO r getting really desperate at the moment, even using Froch tongue in cheek comments to promote him.

Clever as they will continue to feed GGG the geales and sam soils mans by claiming the elite r scared.....

There is a very apparent but hard to define smugness about Max

GGG is the real deal buddy. Better amateur record than De La hoya had much less Floyd. Best KO % in middleweight history, KO'd last 18 opponents and stands at 30-0 with 28 KOs (maybe 27 cant remember).

Nobody stands a chance against this guy. He has a good chin, but it's his boxing skill that is just amazing. He's not super fast, not too slick, but he knows how to box and set his shots up. Forget his power for a minute, he can outbox pretty much anyone out there right now. This is the first fighter outside floyd fighting today (other than aging Cotto) that you could throw into the 90s and he'd still probably capture a belt.

Froch may be sarcastic and whatnot, but Eddie Hearns just twitted that GGG - Froch will not make enough money. Sounds like an excuse to me for not facing GGG.

Yeah I know. They go overboard. I DVR'd the fight last night and watched it this morning. They blew GGG so hard

froch (if not sincere) used wry humor. no one would consider it facetious. put down your dictionary and back away.

It was not tongue in cheek. Froch was put on the spot, let his guard down and gave his counsel away. He realised what he said and laughed nervously.

Yep, but it's not Froch or Ward who will come down in weight to fight GGG, so not exactly the same:
    - GGG is ok with moving up to 168 to fight Froch and Chavez but not ok with Ward as he pays less.
    - Froch is ok with fighting Chavez at his own weight 168 but not wanting GGG to move up as he pays less.
