    Froch didn't fight in Oakland so why should Ward fight in Nottingham? :huh

    Mate it was listed as for the title. I read it...
    Then the next time I went on it had replaced the title detail with "catch weight"

    cant see how after two years out everyone was expecting this fight to be at 12 stone.

    Paul Smith boxed at LHW on his return in 2012 and that was only a year after he lost to George Groves

    Was never a title fight. Smith isn't a top 15 ranked fighter.

    Believe me, I saw it with my own eyes, it was listed on boxrec as a title fight.

    I am adamant, reason being my brother & I had a long discussion about how neither Smith not Ward should be involved in the fight if it's for the title.

    I don't know how long it was listed as such,but it was. Hence the post.

    Perhaps is an error on Boxrecs part, but it was listed non the less, leading me to think Paul Smith had gained another title shot.
