Terrific fight. I haven't been scoring properly but Mares looks like he's done more to me. Could probably go either way though.

 

Vic-Mares was a great fight. Quite possibly FOTY.

 

58-55 Ortiz.

Peterson round.

 

Into round 6 in Vegas... Peterson possibly spits out mouthpiece early in the round. Doesn't look like he wants to be there but then counters aggressively to Ortiz's advances. Peterson stands centre ring for a while and waits for Ortiz who looks more warey now after being caught on the way in earlier. Ortiz tries to bully and forces Peterson to the ropes but nobdy is really on top as Ortiz bounces around the outside. Not much quality in round 6, evenish round.

 

5-1 to Ortiz. What the hell has gotten into Ortiz? He's just stopped working.
