    Mack clearly not in the best of shape and the Spaniard looks the much fresher fighter but hao take a left hook to the body. Varon trying to box now, looking to get that jab going. Macklin is hanging in, trying to make sure Varon doesn't get into a rhythm. Varon has Macklin against the rope, looks like a right hand hurt him but a follow on left hand was well low. Mack gets some time, was definitely low right in the bollocks area. Not nice.

    Macklin not looking good at all, Varon round but had a point off for the DQ.

    4-0-1 Macklin.

    Same as previously, they start the round trading on the outside. Mack should be looking to do this more often for me with that swelling on his face getting worse as he takes shots on the inside. Unlike previous rounds the fight stays mainly on the outside. Ref has to step in for a third time for low blows and is forced to take a point from Varon. The point doesn't discourage Varon as he puts another in just before the bell.

    If I were Macklin, I'd make the most of these low blows and try and get him DQ'd because he's not fighting well at all.
