Groves did not want the DeGale fight before this fight so I can not see him coming out of hiding now.

Stopped! Impressive win for Degale. The thing that still bothers me a bit about him is that he still doesn't seem all that disciplined in the ring. Switch hitting for no real reason etc... He can get away with it here thanks to his superior physical attributes, but at the very top level that will cause problems for him.

 

The Scouser was done by that ref but DeGale was good, the jab controlled the fight.

Have to say Smith did put up a little fight but got demolished, as soon as i saw him get rocked in the round before i knew he was going

Smith is too hard for his own good. That round was bad for his health.

There was no point in going on.

That round was a 10-8 had it gone to the bell, and things were only going to get worse as DeGale wasn't fading and Smith didn't have a prayer of knocking him out.
