No, Smith is a natural middleweight and I don't blame for taking the ****. He's not even top 5 in Britain, god knows his world ranking. There should have never been a catch weight if Ward is staying at 168. Smith is unprofessional but no more than Ward is an arrogant, spoiled brat.

    Smith lost to Steven Bendall
Was dropped twice by the 6-15-3 (at the time) Conroy McIntosh
Was totally outclassed and stopped by a green DeGale
Was starched in 2 by a green Groves
Beaten twice by a way past it Abraham

Smith's best win is Tony Dodson. lol

Ward said he wants to make a statement and this is Smith's ''superbowl'' and that he's a ''tough dude.'' He also said he's been training for the stoppage. Abraham is known as puncher and Smith went the distance with him twice therefore if Ward, who is not regarded as a puncher which is something which irks him, can stop Smith it will prove he does carry a heavy dig. Thing is, Abraham has only recorded 3 stoppage wins up at SMW since 2009, and one of them was because his opponent injured his hand on his elbow. The other 2 came against very underwhelming opponents indeed.

Truth is Abraham has struggled against virtually every good, decent and half decent SMW he's fought since then and he's been on the receiving end of a few controversial decisions against very average foes too. Abraham's best win since 2009 is Robert Steiglitz (who also beat him) but other than that he hasn't beaten anyone of note for a long time, and Steiglitz is no great shakes.
