A better man and a far better fighter. Fowler cannot brawl or even box him. Body shots will due the job. Smiths performance against canelo was very commendable, he fought his own fight and got beaten by the better man, but he went for it, just for that I know he's a level above.
People forget he more than held his own. Canelo just didn’t respect his power so could take them and do what he wanted. I was of the same opinion of you and have put money on it but the closer it gets the more I sense there will be a sting in the tail from Fowler.
I agree Smiths performance against Canelo was certainly commendable. What I take from the weigh in today is that Smith looked gaunt at 154 and Fowler looked very nervous. I’m hoping tomorrow should deliver for us boxing fans. It’s pretty close.
People tend to forget that Smith fought Clenelo five years ago. It's 2021. I don't say Fowler will win but Smith isn't the same fighter he was in 2016, 2017 or even 2018. He looked pretty lackluster in his last fight in Russia and he should have known that he needed a big performance to get the nod. I hope Smith wins this but Fowler is younger and less shopworn at this point. And he's slightly taller & bigger as well.
Agree, said Smith has started to decline about 2 years ago. Being at that for that long, not boading well for him. His shots must lack snap now.
Fowler isnt in teh same league, Smith is world level operator turned world level gate keeper. Fowler isn't getting the top or even past domestic. Smith will take his time in dismantling him.

Fowler’s going up the levels in this fight. He just hasnt shown me anything in his previous fights that makes me think he can beat Smith. Liam is a throwback who loves a scrap and has the tools to box at the top level. Fowler doesn’t look good enough imo.
