The 4th was Simpson's first real triumph, IMO (although at the cost of being on the verge of a deduction) 39-37 SS
Surely you score the round as you see it, if its a highly dominant round or a knockdown is scored than 10-8 is what it is, regardless whether the rest of the fight is a slugfest, that has nothign to do you score as you go.
For me it has to be amazingly dominant to get a 10-8. I mean, how many 10-8s would there be in Galaxy-Moon II otherwise?!? I don't score even rounds, and I reserve 10-8s for truly miraculous rounds. Not too often without a kd to be honest.
Kind of. I just think in the context you have to be aware that it's the opening round. It wasn't so dominant that Simpson was holding on for life or constantly running. I never really thought that Smith would get the stoppage. So I wouldn't score it 10-8 anyway. But I see your point. 49-47 Smith.
first four rounds have probably gone to smith on the cards in liverpool. simpson definitely won the 5th
