Smith V DeGale Is On!

he hasnt lost patience with smith at all. smith is one of his biggest ticket sellers right now. he fills the echo arena whenever he fights and thats very important considering the state FWP is in.

FW tried to make the degale v groves fight but he couldnt get him so then frank went to smigga and asked him if he would like to cancel his fight with paul david to fight degale for more money... smigga snatched his hand off in a second!!!

If true, this is an awesome fight and I'm please that Frank is taking risks. This is the sort of fight DeGale needs.

 

DeGale wont be allowed to get as many punches off as he has against past fighters. he wont be allowed to just stand there looking flash. smigga will smother his work and take the fight to him. DeGale will look bad, very very bad!!! This aint olympic boxing!!!

Smith will make it tough but I see Chunky coming through to win UD. As long as Chunky doesn't get too brave and stand there and trade with him. If it ends up being fought at close quarters well I think Smith's strength and experience could make it a long night for Degale. If Chunky boxes him from the outside and counter punches he will win for sure.

Yep, if he thought Smith was world class then he'd move him up, vacate the belt and have DeGale fight for the vacant title. Now he's just a stepping stone for the Olympian in Warrens eyes.

 

I think, with the crowd all on his side, Smith can win this. KO in the middle rounds for Smith.

It's a brave choice by fw to put his future moneymaker in with smith. Degale is too green, has fought people who will allow him to stand there and tee off with no reply. You all best believe that smith is far too good to let degale do this, and the major difference for degale is that someone standing opposite will punch as hard as he does, take his shots, get cut up to **** and still have the heart to take all that ****, and still win. I think smigga will break degales heart and will.
Brung this fight in, can't wait!

 

IF this fight is on would love to see what the pre fight build uup is like they are supposed to be friends but i dotn think Smigga will take any nonsense if Degale starts coming out with that "its al about levels" talk

Hard fight for Smigga, Ive been massivly impressed by DeGale, but Smiths no push over, im sure he can give a good challenge to DeGale.
