Is anyone else looking forward to this? I know the focus is on the Groves vs Eubank semi but this one is pretty tasty, too. I think with Brant coming up from 160 and Braehmer coming down from 175, I expected Braehmer to overpower him but it was his timing and elusiveness in defence which really impressed me. I’m not seeing the old, weight drained boxer I was expecting. Think this might go the 12.

Decent fight this- I hope ITV decide to put it on the main channel and not get greedy with PPV.

My picks breahmer over Smith by ud maby late stoppage Smith was open for the jab all night in his last fight and even fights before he has showed zero head movement IMO his been exposed

Smith most overrated fighter in the tourney, would really fancy groves eubank to beat him, breahmer and cox would both give him very good fight, no head movement joe gallagher tactics, relies on size too much to bowl through opponets against a slick operator who can bang he will get exposed

I think Smith be to fresh for him, stop him or make him quit somewhere between 8-10. I hope to see Smith having worked on some of the problems from his last fight

Really good fight, it’s amazing to see both Skoglund and Braehmer both come down from 175ib in this tourney and not be weight drained (especially at Braehmers age). I do believe if there are any issues with Braehmer coming down in weight we will see with Callum Smiths wicked body shots. I think Smith wears him down and stops him late, I actually think he might put Braehmer into retirement. I don’t think Smith will have it all his own way and do expect Braehmer to be competitive and win rounds. At their head to head the other day you would think it was Smith who campaigned at 175ib and not Braehmer.

No can't see it being competitive.

Braehmer put on a boxing clinic against Brant but Brant is a MW who is very limited and has no power especially at 168.

Braehmer will cause a few problems for Smith early on but he's too old. People always say Eubank is too small for Smith. Well JB is 5'11" too but unlike young Christopher he has no outstanding athletic qualities. Smith will overpower him.

Callum just needs to follow the Cleverly blueprint and outfight Braehmer. Braehmer marked up really badly against Brant without taking too many punches so I can see him getting brutalised and perhaps quitting.

If Smith can't beat Braehmer clearly he is going nowhere in the sport.

In fairness based on last performance I think he improved Butler, his movement and punch selection was improved. Don’t think he’s tried changing his style to what we would class as a typical Gallagher fighter, just worked on what he does well and improved it (which is right way).
