The SMW all scouse series is the best thing to happen to liverpool boxing for ages.

I'm hoping Dodson can win with his rapid fire approach. If he can't keep him honest with it he could lose the physical battle despite being bigger. I think Dodson is bigger but he doesn't punch like a bigger man.

Dodson needs to remember he was well ahead against Quigley. He can do the same against Smith.

If Smith is going to move into European and then Worldclass he needs to make a statement against Doidson who lets be fair has been beat by every decent fighter he has faced and destroyed against Froch. Smith needs to win in under 5rnds but I don't think he will.

 

WHY does smith need to win under 5 rounds? as long as it is a good win, it don't matter if he KO'S dodson or not. A good points win would be good.

OK Froch beats Dodson very easy and we all no where Froch is now, if Smith is to get recognition for beating Dodson he needs to do it in style, it will get people talking and the exspectations will be higher. If it is a close fight and Smith wins you cannot realisticly expect Smith to go on to and win a world title. He needs to make a statement IMO.

 

look i understand what you are saying, but these things very rarely mean nything tbh

 

To me they mean the difference between potential world class and good domestic class, which Smith is unless he makes a statement against the very average Dodson.
