I didn't give it that way, I just rewatched it and had Smith winning three out of the first six and three in the last six. I initially thought Ryder won easily. I think I was wrong now. Smith landed plenty from distance, missed plenty too but later on he got Ryder with is lead uppercut a lot. I think it was very close until Ryder really pushed it in the last two rounds. Smith also tied Ryder up effectively a lot more later on while getting his own work off at range.

Actually Fist of Steel brought up Canelo and GGG, I simply responded in saying that Canelo-GGG was a close fight unlike Smith-Ryder...... then the GGGoon brigade jumped on me one after another. Go see for yourself, I think it's on page 4... so call your buddies out, not me.

Well if they land similar amounts and the separating factor is a jab. Particularly a hard solid jab, then yes it does matter.

I've asked you about the fight several times now and all you want to do is whine on about others when it was you who first mentioned Canelo to me in our exchange here. You're not going to get another response from me on this thread unless it's about the thread subject.

In fact, I'll go one better: unless a thread is about Canelo - we both know you'll be all over those - and you're responding to the thread as if it's about him rather than about it's actual subject then you won't hear from me and will prob find yourself placed upon ignore.

I can see that scenario IF they landed an equal amount and equal in quality of clean power punches.

    What?! Hahaha

You said I made this into a Canelo-GGG thread, I pointed you to the facts and showed you that I simply responded to someone who brought those two guys, and my response was to make a differentiation between Smith-Ryder and GGG-Canelo, which fist of steel was trying to pass as the same scenario...... THEN the GGGoon brigade came to Golovkin's defense...

You sound like a democrat in a Trump impeachment hearing. HAHAHAHA

Well that's what I meant. Clean quality work is still the main scoring factor. A clean jab is still a very effective punch though. Especially if it's thrown with intent, not all jabs are used as range finders or pawing at the guard.

You speak with half truths, and only want to hear what is convenient for your narrative.

    See ya buddy.

Have watched it properly and gave Smith the first 4. Ryder landed nothing of note in them first few rounds. I thought Andy's commentary was a little off also. How anyone could give Ryder the first round is beyond me. He threw one combination with about 30 seconds to go. Landed nothing but shots to Smiths elbows for the next few rounds. Ryder was busy but not effective enough for me. Poor performance by Smith but he won that fight

That guy was running down Ryder before the fight as British level who had no chance against Smith, throwing off on him non stop. Not to mention he's a terrible at scoring. So no he's not spot on, and since I like you, sadly neither are you.

What did you think about Callum Smith vs John Ryder? If you're not going to discuss it, take the Canelo talk to another thread.

I'll already posted what I think. And no, I didn't bring up Canelo or GGG into this thread, and yea I responded to first of steel who did, and yes the GGGoon brigade went into full attack mode when they got their feelings hurt.

I rate Ryder and like him but as I said it was a draw for me. Not a clear cut Ryder win like is being made out here. If I were to give anyone the nod though it'd be Ryder simply because he did more damage.

You can only score a fight,LIVE. I thought in heat of battle the WINNER for me was Ryder.I can watch the replay or whatever but at the time I thought Ryder edge Smith and was robbed.
He was actually the better technician and tactician of the two. And had an answer for anything Smith did.

Smith had no answer for Ryder skills and was looking like a tall, big for nothing, backing up against the smaller fighter and looked like a bloodied loser at the end of the fight. But every one has an opinion of the fight.
