So hearing the big man Paul Smigga Smith might be on his way toward another well deserved title shot.

Are the boxing heads licking their lips with anticipation?

i can't wait, can't think of anyone more deserving than him. The Daniel Regi fight alone showed he is elite, probably the best Brit to never win a world title

Doesn't deserve a shot, but I hope he wins anyway.. Zeuge is a weak champion imo so he has a decent chance.

If Smith gets another undeserved world title fight then he must have seriously sore knees.

Gavin Rees getting a world title shot in 2007 after only facing journeymen, and Amir Khan getting one after being destroyed in 40 seconds by a Colombian taxi driver.. are worse than this.

His *only* good win. Hearn's done brilliantly by him. Never rated him above British level. He deserves credit for his effort in the first Abraham fight though.

    IF this happens.
We could have IBO (Chris Eubank JR) WBA super (George Groves) WBA reg (Paul Smigga) WBC & IBF (James De gale).

I'd hope Groves and Smith would face off for WBA. N CEJ VS JDG n winners meet. (Obvs won't happen as loads of things would need to go right plus mandatories etc)

Just when you think this game couldn't be any more of a joke....a true story of hard work and perseverance like this one pops up and completely restores your faith in this beautiful "sport".

How this fat, wobbly mess keeps getting title shots is beyond me. Hearn must be paying out of his arse to get him this.

Hearn must be taking it up the arse to get him this..... But lets face facts Paul Smith gets the call for these defenses as they all see him as an easy payday, probably the easiest. As a defense against Paul will be sold as multiple time World Title challenger Paul 'Smigga' Smith.

Paul Smith does frustrate me. He seems content to float from undeserved title shot to underserved title shot, without showing any ambition to extend himself in the meantime.
