I was going to pick McEwan since the fight was first mooted. I've seen enough of the kid to know he's a class act whereas ANgulo is one-dimensional.

    Moran UD
    Calzaghe UD
    Amidu TKO
    Haye TKO

Gone with Amidu who seems dangerous on paper. Knowing my luck he'll turn out shite and Burns will box his ears off.

Everyone seems to be going with McEwan here. Really hope he pulls the upset off.

I'm surprised the amount of people that have gone with McEwan actually.

Isnt Angulo highly touted over the pond? if McEwan wins, could very well give him abit of exposure over there :)

Yeah, he's been on HBO twice and they regard him as a big prospect. Style-wise he is very similar to Antonio Margarito. McEwan will definitely be the underdog against Angulo but he has the skills to outbox him.

That's a good comparison. I see this fight going something like the Margarito-Cotto fight. I think McEwan will enter confident and take control of the early stages, but end up fading a bit as Angulo wears him done and begins to take control and then eventually stops him. While both are pretty inexperienced, McEwan's competition has been a bit worse, and I'm not sure how he will deal with the pressure and power.

Size-wise McEwan is probably biggger than Angulo. McEwan has been fighting at MW albeit against lesser opposition as you say. So if he had no problems in making 154 he should be the stronger fighter come fight night whereas Cotto looked like a midget compared to Margarito. Having fought at 160 will be a huge plus for Craig as he's fought some tough Mexican journeymen who are no pushovers.

Angulo has been facing guys who come at him and make it easy for him. He has yet to face a slick boxer like McEwan. Even the HBO commentators said during his last fight that his handlers should match him against come forward fighters as boxers will give him trouble.
