    Smithy, did you see on the last page that I changed my Rhodes prediction from TKO to UD.

    Just making sure. :smile

    Not had a bad week, got Joe UD right, Haye TKO right, Brook TKO right, Rhodes UD right.

    Better than any other week I've had anyway.

    I would have had Burns UD if he wasn't fighting a straight up bum. When does Burns knock guys out :patsch

    Went for Brook UD so wasn't exactly spot on with that and got the Burns one wrong but correct predictions for the other!

    I was thinking about Burns UD as obviously I knew nothing about Amidu, but looking at the guys record, 16 KO's in 16 wins, and his only loss a MD to Funeka suggested he was your typical African fighter if nobody minds me saying, strong, powerful and tough. Therefore I went with him by TKO.

    He was strong and fit, he was essentially an athlete and not a boxer which is exactly what I expected. No schooling at all. His power looked disappointing to me for a man that has a 100% KO record in his wins. Tells you what sort of comp he's been fighting out there.

    I don't think anybody could account for Burns scoring a knockout though. Although i suppose he was the only guy to stop Silence Saheed :think

    boxrec now has mcewan fighting ivan stovall (10 - 2) instead of angula.

    i'll change my prediction to mcewan tko if this fight still counts

    and if we are doing a bonus prizefighter prediction i'll go for martin murray

    We have a new champion, going by the name of TFFP. Still tight at the top though, my heart over head choice with McIintyre failed me as I thought it might.


    Also, I was thinking making this league just for the rest of 2008, i.e. a new league starting up 1st January 2009. I'm not concrete on this, so interested to see what you guys think. It will make October, November and December make or break for us all, and more interesting, and with the champ the one to beat in 09.

    Let me know your thoughts.
