No, Tony Weeks needs to referee it.

Never stops the action hardly ever, exactly the way a fight should be.

golota has a fair chance to beat peter imo. first, an apparently brittle oleg maskaev just went about 6 rounds with peter. Golota until he is about 50 will be able to outbox peter. Golota's about as strong as Peter and not too much slower in handspeed (unlike sugar oleg maskaev). Golota always has to worry about an early barrage, but I don't seeing Peter having that 1st round early explosiveness that would get the job done.

Thats about how I see things going. And Oleg looked TWICE as slow as Andrew does now. If I'm not mistaken, Oleg even made Peter wobble a bit from a punch, but chances are that chump was just off balance.

On what basis does Golata deserve a shot at Peter? Because he beat Kevin McBride and Mike Mollo? Mollo is in the same class as Brian Minto and Butterbean, and McBride lost to Mollo as well. True, there isn't a lot of talent at heavyweight, but how many times is Golata going to be recycled? He was finished after the second Bowe fight. Getting knocked out by Lennox Lewis in the first round and quitting against Tyson should have really nailed the coffin shut.

As a Golota fan I will be honest...there are more deserving heavyweights out there! But not by much! Golota is on a win streak and Golota puts butts in seats which should never be forgotten when discussing whether someone deserves a title shot.

And Golota should be a live underdog versus Peter. Golota can box and jab, two things that have frustrated Peter mightly. If Peter doesn't get up completely for Golota he will be upset!

Like it or not, Mollo was ranked in the top ten prior to his bout with Golota.

Like it or not, Golota is still the most marketable heavyweight out there.

Like it or not, Golota shall inevitably school Peter.

It'd be ironic if Golota won his biggest ever fight on a DQ!

I watch Golota every chance I can because it's true, his fights are fun to watch.

But he is stiffer than Maskaev and almost as easy to deck. I would be very hesitant picking him over Sam. Especially considering Golota's sunday punch is the kind of punch Sam eats for breakfast.

Forget about the past, you history fan. No one cares about that stuff...this is boxing, FGS!

And stop bitchin that Golota is gonna get another shot. Why shouldn't he? On what basis does Peter deserve to hold a HW title belt? Who the hell has he beaten? Its getting worse than the WWF.

    Golota by KO 2.:deal

WRONG! Golota looked lightyears better that Maskaev did. Oleg hadn't fought in 16 months. He looked like Golota did against Bates. AG's come along way in 3 tune ups. Peter better bring his roller skates, cause when Andrew connects, he's gonna need 'em.

"Come on Andrew, keep those punches up, you're doing great! Nice jab, Peter, trying doubling them up! Oh, lovely hook there Andrew..."

Smoger's a good ref, but his cheerleading banter amuses me.
