Smoger Wasn't Impartial Tonight

Huh, was Floyd in this fight? It was Matthyse v Peterson idiot. Why can't people talk about anything other than him?

Smoger did excellent job and he stopped it appropriately. Peterson could barely survive grazing shots. Imagine a flush shot. Matthyse has to be up there in P4P power.

They should put all their resources towards Lucas anyway. He is a casual fan's wet dream.

 

He should learn English.

 

He was stalling because he was giving him time to rest, he wanted to see more action and he knew Mathysse would end him quick.

He kept giving him chances cause Mathysse never lets me enjoy his fights, he always be putting mother****ers to sleep early. Smoger wanted us to get our moneys worth.

 

i'm definitely one to criticize when the Yanks are up to their usual tricks, but Smoger was in the right here.
LM should have went to the neutral corner when the cheat was down. he was basically standing over PEDerson like fighters did in the olden times. pushing him back when PEDerson stood back up, was clean work. no problems here.

now, if you want dodgy work by Smoger, watch the Froch vs Ward fight. he let Ward hold all the time and didn't do a god damn thing. also watch him ref Ingle vs Jr Jones. i thought at one point he was going to pick Jones up off the canvas, get behind him and grab his arms and start punching Ingle in the face while Jones is basically asleep. that was hideous.

and i have no problem with the rabbit punches from Lucas because PEDerson was starting to hold all the time. if you use that as part of your tactics, then your opponent has the right to fight dirty back.

oh, and Lucas is a ****ing machine. he's one of my faves. always has been. it's nice to see him getting the props that he deserves.
can't wait until a few other fighters that i know are the real deal to get their credit as well.
