Who wins Prime " Smokin " Bert Cooper vs David " Hayemaker " Haye

Does the journeyman gladiator from the late 80's and 90's pull it off or does the Hayemaker walk over him.

Previous to the Ruiz fight i would be uncertain to the outcome . I think now it appears Haye can punch at heavyweight and his chin is upgraded from glass to suspect he may come away with TKO in like 6-8 if he goes in hard.

Bert Cooper would get beat of course, but Cooper was a good fighter...his fight with Holyfield is one of the best HW fights i've ever seen.

true but that was an overtrained holyfield who fought the wrong fight, brawling with cooper and trying to get him out early

that said cooper did amazing with the biggest opportunity of his life, knocking holyfield down for the first time and proving he was a test for any heavyweight of that era

the cooper of that night knocks haye out, the cooper of any other night gets knocked out

The post is premature. The fact is we just don't know. Haye has yet to fight a heavy that can punch. His last three wins were good, but all of them were old veterans on the verge of retirement. And none of them could punch at all.

    Hahaha!
That's what I get for not reading the poll properly. I also thought it was Frazier.
