I agree Collins isnt British and because of that didnt put him in my British selection but instead put him in the world selection.
So once again, why not pick a British SMW

So what is your opinion. And if you accept others opinion why do you jump all over a thread that praises 'Zaggers. :think Butthurtness?

the thread requests peoplepost their lists.

I have therefore posted mine, as will others. I have not objected to any opinions, merely given mine and reasons for it. for instance I have outlined why I did not include ottke, or where Collins stands. Calzaghe is never mentioned apart from making the lsit, which I stand by - hes good enough to be in it. only YOU have raised calzaghe as an issue.

what is your problem with people doing what the thread requests?

    No you didnt.
You said Collins was optional, but how can he be when hes not British? :patsch
So once again, why not put in a British SMW and leave Collins for the rest of world selection where he would be optional.
Sure you can work it out Eric

you should ask people who are wont to include him in the list, since I am the first to NOT directly have him in the list - it is exceptionally doolally of you that you asking me twice now.

In fact, its me who has been first to point out he shouldn't be in a biritsh list

you appear to be slapping your own head about yourself. plese don't.

    :good

I respect your opinion on Ottke.

I have a lot of respect for Steve Collins, but I just can't give much credit for beating Benn. And the only reason he rematched him, is because he twisted his ankle. Otherwise, there probably wouldn't have been a rematch. It may look good on paper, but not in reality. We've discussed this before. He faded fast after the McClellan fight. He wasn't a top class SMW when Collins fought him. He'd lost to Mainga and then retired. Then when he came back for Collins, he bet a large sum of money on himself, to give him a lift, which he'd never needed to do before. He even said that he knew he was kind of gone for his fights against Collins.

Your an*logy with Ward and Froch is poor. Froch lost a close fight with Kessler, who was a world class fighter. Whereas Benn looked like a shell of his former self against Malinga and Collins.

thank you, but at least 3 losses at world level.

no offer a rematch to cement what he thinks was a win first time, so technically no effortto win back the lost title each time, and no proof that he could manage to do so. this means a very short title reign in reality.

    that's my basis.

You better check the records, because they say 34 fights, 34 wins.

We have countless cases where the fighter didn't give a rematch to the opponent after the controversial win.

34-0, 21 title def and unifying the titles places Ottke among the greatest super middleweights.

we've both stated our cases. I have no problem with your opinion being yours.
