You have to pay them respect, all of them ! Even the biggest looser will have my respect for just stepping up. Thats whats boxing is about imo.:deal

I hope people appreciate this and dont go all fickle as soon as one of them loses..This is taking it back to the days when the best fought the best, and if you lost you dealt with it and moved on.

    Really looking forward to this.

they are not risking it all since they have 3 guaranteed fights wether they win or lose.

In fact, its alot more risky to fight 1 tough fight with no future prospects if you lose than taking part in this tournament where you get a first, second, and third chance.

Don't get me wrong, I love this tournament... but they are not risking it all.

Guys like Bute and Andrade are both risking it all in the rematch because the loser of that fight doesn't have anywhere interesting to go

Hell, yes. All of them are the real deal, real prize fighters.

To much over-thinking from you PHILLA.

They are risking it all because they have stepped up to fight the best fighters in their division. Nothing left to say.

Big respect to all of the fighters involved. May the best man win.

    :lol::lol::lol::lol:

Thats one way to look at it.

More risky than one fight :lol::lol:

Chances are, if you lose, youre not going to be in the comp come 2011.

Philla, i dont post much anyumnore, but i always liked yours and pharoas posts, but bottom line, if youre in this comp, you have balls. DID YOU SEE KESSLER VS ANDRADE? = It was brutal, scary brutal, one sided schooling, yet you claim he should along with bute be awaiting the winner!!!

Butes that good he'll fight the winnner.

    I bet he wont

I bet $1000 he wont face the winnner

    Anyone in?

Yes they are risking it all, if a fighter goes 0-3 and loses badly his career would pretty much be over...Going 1-2 is also a nightmare for all except Ward and Dirrell, which in their case would mean that they most likely lost a fight to the other. Your looking at it as ONE fight, then having a rematch and winning it. At least one of the fighter here will go 0-3, if I had to bet on which it would be I would say AA.

    VERY risky.

Just think about it like this:

BEFORE the Super Six they has a combined record of 161 WINS and 4 LOSSES.

During this tourney they are (pretty much) GUARANTEED to have 6 losses MORE combined.

In other words, this tourney will give them more combined losses than all six have gotten through-out their entire carreers. It is not only risky, it is guaranteed to end in defeat for many.

The tourney is great and the level of competition is awesome, but their will be losers and even they deserve a lot of credit.
