Tyson is originally from Brooklyn, New York. That's one of the five boroughs that make up New York City. His neighborhood was very rough.

The Catskills are a bit further upstate. Tyson used to do a lot of training there, and I think he spent a good deal of time with former trainer/mentor Cus D'Amato in the Catskills.

Here's a map of New York to give some visual aid. More after the picture:

You can see where Brooklyn is on the map. The Catskills are located in Ulster, Sullivan (both in green), Delaware and Greene (yellow) counties. Everything above the New York City area (Brooklyn, Staten Island, Manhattan, Bronx, Queens) is often referred to as 'upstate' New York. Nassau and Suffolk counties comprise what is commonly referred to as Long Island (even though Queens and Brooklyn are physically part of the island, they're part of New York City).

    Hope that helps. :good

Went to a screening today in London, with the Director in attendance. My 2nd time watching this.
Watching Mike cry and fighting back the tears was just odd to see, but heartwelming and very sad! Mike touches on a lot, some brief but some intact and affecting.

The private home fotage provided by his ex wife, Monica, was beautiful. Mike playing with his kids and being a loving father was captured well.

Mike talking about Prison, the **** that went on and discriptions of some graphic stuff.

Mike commentating on some of his bouts, especially the Holyfeld and Buster fights were interesting and dramatic.

I give it a 9/10. Its low budget, good archive fotage and powerful in words and emotions.
