it would be better for floyd if he fights canelo now than later

Of course Floyds going to try and convince him to be the aggressor this is where Canelo has to stay sharp and use his smarts. if he can dart in run off some shots and move as he did with Trout, if Canelo can do that for the first half of the fight and bank some rounds.

and continue to not just follow Floyd but pick his spots score his shots and walk it out when he is done.... by the middle of the fight Floyd has no choice but to start taking chances.

and Canelo has to be ready for that as well and must be alert enough to take advantage of that.

I think the first half is key for Canelo to make this the type of fight he wants it to be. He has enough speed, pop and the size along with his Youth to make this a very hard fight for Floyd especially if he cuts him to the body in them early rounds.

Khan and Alexander those guys do not have the ability neither does Garcia or Maidana yet all of those guys are likely going to get a shot.
All of those style suit Floyds style much easier Than Canelos does...
so if I were Floyd before I fought those guys why not take on Canelo bank that money win or lose thats a big PPV event.

I think Floyd would be better suited legacy wise if he just moves back up, fighting Jr welters who are moving up isnt going to help his legacy.

the Floyd that fought Saturday night would have absolutely no problem with canelo and the only hope canelo would have is to land a punch early.

if he didn't land something signifigant in the first half of the fight he would get schooled for 12 rounds.

I don't think that you will be hearing gbp and canelo mentioning anything this year about fighting Floyd after Saturday night.

everything from his iq to his fighting style

u do realize there is a reason why floyd wants nothing to do with canelo...doesn't want to take the chance to lose just like he has showed before with pacman or waiting until de la hoya to come out of retirement instead when they could have fought years earlier

yes floyd is the best boxer in the business and has been for a good amount of years now but there are other top notch boxers over the years during his reign that he has not fought as he will only fight where it will take a miracle to beat him instead of an actual fair fight

no, but what it showed is that he still has good legs at 36.

ill take Floyd over canelo lifetime esb ban bet if they fight in September...which they wont.

because you wont hear anything from gbp and canelo after Saturday night.

dlh wants nothing to do with canelo/Floyd for September 2013.

Canelo may or may not be able to beat Floyd but he definitely has the best chance. No one else can touch PBF right now.
