I'm sure Canelo will address this and we'll know his side.

But what if, just maybe, it's ALVAREZ who is worrying about his legacy, his legitimacy, how he will be perceived.

What if Canelo believes he can beat Floyd regardless, and he's the one who doesn't want it marred by people saying "Yeah, he's a much bigger guy, he came in at 154 and was 171 in the ring. He's not better than Floyd, he's just a light heavyweight who was fighting a welter."

What if Canelo was thinking, "I came in at 153 my last fight and I even had a light breakfast. I could skip that and come in at 152. The fight is not until September, I can train an extra week and make that number without any ill effects. And if I do that, Floyd will have no excuses because I met him halfway on the weight thing."

Like I said, he'll tell the world what happened and we'll know his version on the matter.

And if it's Floyd's camp dictating terms, so what? It's only a couple of pounds. And Canelo apparently can come in at 154 if he chooses to give up a couple million if that's the way he wants to do it. So in the end it's all up to him anyway if he feels it's too much to sweat off 16 ounces or so off his most recent weigh-in weight.

Floyd's a 154 lber too tho.. look at his titles FFS.

i'm sure Floyd will suffer as much as Alvarez, who requested 152..
