So, according to Canelo, even if he loses to Trout, he should get Floyd?

    :rofl

"Austin Trout is the only opponent [being considered], no one else is on the list or anything like that, and it's almost certainly going to be against him. I'm just waiting to confirm that we have signed against the two [Mayweather and Trout], and I'll be ready," said Canelo.

Damn right. He knows Floyd is gonna ***** out like usual. If Floyd was gonna fight him, he would fight him next and not let him fight a risky opponent and cost Floyd millions of dollars in revenue.

Your boy is a liar and he plans on running. Dlh and co read my post and wired up.

-Trout is the only opponent being considered for May 4th.

-He will sign on to fight Trout as soon as he also signs on to fight Mayweather.

Nothing at all about losing or deserving anything. You're a little stupid if you assume that the contract for Mayweather later this year is regardless of the outcome against Trout. Almost always, the contract for fight two in a binding contract enters affect after the first fight results in either a win or draw for said fighter. A loss opens way for the contract to be void. The well known example for this is Zab having a contract to face Baldomir and then Mayweather afterward. When Zab suffered defeat, Mayweather could have opted out of the contract, but chose on his own not to and to still fight Zab as he would have contractually had to if Zab won or drew with Baldomir.

You really don't follow boxing, do you?

I gotta back Canelo on this one. Floyd wants a popular Mexican on his card that weekend for drawing power. He should actually just fight Canelo on May 4. Canelo's point is he can draw on his own and doesn't need to be on Floyd's under card. If Floyd is going to exploit Canelo's popularity with Mexicans on an important date for Mexicans he wants something in return.
