i think i see a mixture of people underrating Canelo and overrating Trout.

 

Where did you come up with that theory, Canelo said the only way he will be on that Card is if he secures a fight with Floyd in Sept, otherwise he will face trout in Mexico on his own card.

Its the smart thing to do everybody knows Guerrero vs Mayweather will NOT sell on its own, Canelo will bring in the numbers, Floyd being the star will benefit from those numbers, and Canelo is not about to let Floyd make free money off of his name if he cant secure a shot.

very wise thing to do, I honestly like Trout, But I think Canelo beats him, Cotto had success with them left hooks and was able to get some work done in there, but Cotto is also shot, doesnt have the desire anymore, and seemingly cant pull the trigger.

Canelo is much fresher much younger, a real Jr Middle weight, with good hand speed good boxing ability he will beat Trout

Instead of looking at the positive of Canelo saying he wants to fight Trout (high risk, low reward) and Floyd (p4p number 1) his words get twisted and made into a hate thread.

Alvarez does bring something to the table, but he is all hype and no substance right now. He doesn't even have a signature win yet. It is a wise decision on his part to secure both fights, but in no way is he doing the heavy lifting for FMJ/Guerrero.

Mosley was a household name and came off a huge win over Margarito a guy who Floyd is known to have ducked, Marquez was that same Mexican Independence day, and Floyd came out of retirement so that helped a little.
