Averagemek is still plenty good enough to destroy fat, shot, brain-damaged 43 year old Toney.

I tend to agree with others this is a **** fight but on reflection I'm not as upset as I once was.

For one thing many fans have wanted Adamek to face a slick black old American, in the form of Tarver or Hopkins. There was talk about Adamek fighting RJJ not too long ago and there was anger but not this much anger. Toney seems to be the one Adamek is able to come to terms with.

Also, Toney is coming off a win (Gunn) and didn't look as terrible vrs. Lebedev as expected.

Not to say Toney can win this fight unlesshe can KO Adamek, which he can't.

The main thing that sucks is more deserving fighters are getting passed over for Toney, who has superior media value. Adamek seems to be angling towards a retirement run. Adamek's peak was as a cruiser, but he had a good run at heavy. But ever since Michael Grant rocked and nearly upset him, Adamek hasn't been quite the same. Perhaps the desire has waned somewhat; maybe all the hard fights are catching up with him.

While Adamek continues to have enough will and skill for a competitive fight vrs. Chambers, he's not a Top 5 heavy anymore.

Shows the depth of the HW division..

Actually think Toney will beat Adamek. Not even a poor troll attempt. :/

It's got nothing to do with the depth of the heavyweight division. It's got to do with the depravity of the boxing business. And Toney has no chance to win.
