Robin got destroyed. He landed one punch in 5 rounds... 1 punch !

He was on the deck in just about each round.

Reid was past his best sure, but he got obliterated.

So did that scouser Dodson - he dropped out the fight three times.... The cobra knocked him out by accident.

Lucian Bute is a lanky nobody who was destroyed as an amateur welterweight... carried out the ring. Hence he was so terrified of Berrio he let that bum dance for 11 rounds.

The cobra will demolish Berrio faster than anyone else and you will all pour your excuses out as to why.

Bute will never fight Froch and neither will Kessler, because they know they will get beat.

I just hope people won't be stupid enough to compare the result of the Froch-Berrio fight like they did with the Bute-Tatevosyan fight.

Tatevosyan had 4 months of training for the Bute fight including sparring with Kessler.

On the other hand he only had 2-3 weeks of training after the beating he received from Bute to get ready for Froch. Doesn't take a rocket scientist to realize he was not in the same kind of shape and didn't have the same kind of world class preparation for the two fights. Yet people claim Froch is better because he knocked out Tatevosyan and Bute didn't. :patsch

Same story is repeating here. Berrio who had over 3 months to get prepared for Bute will be taking on Froch with only 2 weeks notice. Watch the Froch nuthuggers flood the forums with "It took Bute 11 rounds to stop Berrio, Froch did it in 4!!!!"

    :rofl

Some people will, no doubt. Froch himself said his performance against Tatevosyan was proof he was better than Bute. After Bute beat Berrio, Froch said he'd have KOed them both!

Of course, all this does not explain why Froch avoided Bute in the IBF eliminator.

    Nevermind...

I would be surprised if Bute does not end up fighting Froch sometime.

Boxrec Froch fans say Tatesvosyan was a great win and nut hug like Maxime described.

Some Froch fans say the reason Froch avoided Bute in the eliminator was because his knee was not 100%. But if Froch was so dominant against Tatevosyan three months before the eliminator, his knee couldn't have been bad. Would Froch have risked fighting Tatevosyan with a dodgy knee? I don't think so. Tatevosyan wasn't at stay busy fight; it was a fight supposed to help Froch measure up against Bute, after Magee and Dodson, who were British level fighters. Tatevosyan wasn't world class, just Euro class, but he was a step above those two. In any case, it's not as if Froch HAD to take the Tatevosyan fight; he could have had the operation and not fought Tatevosyan at all... But if Froch wanted to test himself against Bute, why didn't he take the eliminator fight against Bute?

My guess was he thought he wasn't ready. He took a battered Tatevosyan in the ring and the ref helped him with an early stoppage. On the back of that, having avoided Bute, he tried to gain the upper hand by saying he was better than Bute. Sad, really.

Looks like Froch won't be fighting Berrio either, but just a stay busy fight.

Let's hope he'll have proper opposition for the vacant title after this, though. Hope Kessler takes it.

    Sure Doorbell.

You obviously dont read the internet properly.

Froch injured his knee afterwards, not before the Potatovosyan fight.

So...why did he fight Tatevosyan then, if he wasn't injured or suffering in any way? Why did he fight Tatevosyan, the guy whom Bute just beat, a couple of weeks after he had been battered by Bute? Why not agree to fight Bute in the IBF eliminator?

    Yeah...I know...he was scared...:yep
