Actually what i would like to see is Scott and alex arthur finally getting into the ring, if alex could get down to 135.

  12. I had him on even terms after six but he faded badly in the second half of the fight so it depends on why that was. If it was just down to not being in proper shape from taking the fight on a few weeks notice and he can actually get himself in better nick with good conditioning then i think he can definitely mix it with the top domestic Lightweights. If that was the best shape he can into then i don't see him doing that.

I remember his strength and conditioning coach saying he was in the best shape of his life, now that clearly wasnt the case.
There is still fights to be made if Scott continues and i hope he will spar Ricky coz it could help get his sharpness back.

in fairness Billy your coach isnt going to say "nah hes in shite shape" is he, no matter what shape the fighters in the coaches always say the fighters in the best shape of their careers.

Got a bad feeling he's going to try and boil down to 130, he caught walsh with some good shots but never looked like they carried enough power at 135. Hope I'm wrong though.

What he did prove though was that he still has something left, considering that was his 1st meaningful fight in years I thought it was a very good performance. He took a lot of shots and kept coming forward, his chin is still solid especially when he spent his career taking shots on the chin at 126.

Judging by that performance he still has something to give and more activity will do him good and to be honest I think he needs boxing or he'll end up back to his old ways. So for that reason more than any other I hope he carries on.
