So again Wlad trained like a beast but fought embarassingly lame.

    What a ridiculous post!

Wlad fought a tactical chess match. He did what he had to do.Sultan was the one who is to blame for their extremely boring encounter.Sultan didnt take any unnecassary risks. He didnt even try to win that fight.Wlad was confortably ahead on points after a few rounds gaining more points with every round. It was Sultan's turn to try to turn the tables. He didnt even try it.
Very difficult to hunt a bigger version of Sven Ottke down!
Wlad did a good job IMO.

Of course Wlad's encounter with Sutlan was weak in dramatical moments, but hey!.........................you need two for a tango, dont you!

wlad could have definately stopped ibragimov if he tried harder.every right hand klitschko landed seemed to effect ibragimov, but he threw virtually no hard shots in the first 6 rounds it was just jab jab jab.

When you have the amount of talent and ability that Klitschko has, you don't fight like that.

    That was an embarrassing performance.

Preparation is not relevant when judging a fighter.

All that counts is performance in the ring.

    Talent is a positive.

    Your post is irrational.

Correct. But his performance was disappointing and shameful. Every fighter that ''fights'' like this will get bashed. Hell even amatuers who fight like that will get booed

No heavyweight champion of the world should be so scared of getting hit like he is! He doesn't have the heart of a true champion/fighter, which is the reason Manny trains him to fight the way he does. I think people are forgetting that this fight was supposed to help the heavyweight division and attract more fans, which clearly didn't happen.

Well, my mind would tell me that Wlad slimming down, and training his ass off would be a sign that he was prepared to go 12 rounds. I think that his team most likely knew that Sultan would fight the way that he did, and make it near impossible to put a string of power punches together, unless Wlad simply fought wrecklessly... and we know that Wlad is too good, and too smart to do that.

The blame for a lame fight would be placed on Sultan, who was getting his ears boxed off, and still refused to make a fight of it.

And yet a champion he is.

"Heart" is an intangible factor not appropriate for discussion.
