Folks, I too know damn well that Poland's Al Sosnowski isn't the greatest heavyweight contender since the invention of the Brautwurst sausage, but that doesn't mean the Pole is a bum or pretender..... I think Al Sosnowski has perhaps the best build of any heavyweight contender or champion this side of the K-bros. here in 2010.... Despite his shortcomings in the skill department, his conditioning, heart & soul seem well intact..... Look, age or not, champion V.K. did what he had to do last Sat. night in Germany against Al Sosnowski..... Was the fight action-packed? NO! But WTF, rarely is a "K-Bro." fight filled with sustained action from piller to post..... Yet I thought the 10th round KO of Sosnowski was pretty exciting and impressive... V.K. did end the night for Sosnowski with a whopper of a right hand..... Q: Is Al Sosnowski a top-10 contender here in 2010? YES!! Why the hell not? Is he down near the bottom of the top-10? YES!! But is that so terrible?? Anyway, I hope I at least made a decent point and argument about Albert Sosnowski..... Bottom line: Albert Sosnowski is NOT a bum........:hat MR.BILL:bbb
He fought hard showed heart and bravery....more than could be said about his past opponents plus he trained
What a surprise. A Klit nuthugger talking up one of the cans Quitali fought. Albert Sosnowski just got schooled off Zuri Lawrence, he is a domestic/european operator at best. Compare to world level - yes he is a bum. Sosnowski is not a top 10 operator you deluded fool. More like top 50.
going by the talent pool he is top 20 or 15 not 10 but he had or still has the european belt and wins over danny williams and orlin norris not too shabby compared to some guys with empty resumes like Kevin Johnson
Let's see him fight some more of the 'top ten' guys first, is what I say... He looked a little 'bummish' to me man...
I dont think anybody is calling him a star or gave him a shot but he fought and trained like a guy who wanted it guys with guts who make fights can revive boxing not guys showing up for a check and thats why id rather see Vitali fight the european contenders rather than the americans guys like virchis and dimitrenko mtach his size anad hight former holder valuev would be interesting hell in a few years puleev and another great round of euro contenders is coming
Oh **** that's desperate :rofl:rofl:rofl I think I'll start a "Peter McNeeley was NOT a bum" thread now, he seems to fit all the criteria you apply.
Sosnowksi has never even beaten a top 30 HW and was shutout by Zuri Lawrence, a C level fighter with not KOs. Sosnowski was cherry picked because of his popularity. He has no credentials.
Even though I am harsh on Nicky Valubum, I still find the hulk interesting, despite being totally one-dimensional in the ring....... I too, would welcome a "V.K. vs. Valuev" bout for late 2010..... However, I question Nick Valubum's team and desire to make this fight happen........ MR.BILL
McNeeley was 36-1 with 30 KO's when Tyson beat him, he was just as muscular as Sosnowski and also the same height which as we know makes him just as good in Klitschko-land.
