Even if his record was bad, the guy is obviously a highly focused, well conditioned athlete. It is immediately apparent within seconds of watching him fight. Very game of course too. Sosnowski is far from a bum. The Klitschko's are just freaks.
I think the Flu excuse is full of crap, but ill believe the eardrum excuse vs. McCline..... Peter may have been down in that fight a couple times, but it doesnt change the fact he has a tough chin. Peter can take some flush bombs with ease.
At this moment, I'd argue Albert would beat Valuev and Ruiz. But even so, I'd be hard pressed to find a place for him in the top 10. He wasn't picked because of his record BTW, he was picked because being Ebu champion, he was high on the list of WBC contenders. Which is why Vitali fought him. I think Albert would do well against boxers bellow the 10th rank. Above that though, he's either not good enough of a boxer, or not fast enough or really... too exposed. Arreola would beat him, as he, like Adamek, is opened to shots and I'm not sure he has Adamek's endurance or boxing skills.
Who has he beaten? He is nowhere near the top 10. Here is a quick list of names better than him in the division: Wlad, Vitali, Haye, Chagaev, Chambers, Sugar Valuev, Solis, Povetkin, Adamek, Arreola. That is 10 names who are better already and that is indisputable. Peter, Dimitrenko, Boystov, Thompson, Gomez, probably Tua, probably even Helenius are all better than him.
Malik Scott I thought was actually pretty handy. Tall, quick, relatively skillful, good jab. Problem was he never really seemed to have much power and his attitude has been called into question. Raphael Butler is his best win and that's a shame. The other's are all terrible though.
