This is the guy WBA have ordered Cotto to face by December. Yuriy Nuzhnenko. He is gonna look a mess when he faces Cotto, if this is how he looked against Frederic Klose. http://i25.photobucket.com/albums/c57/N9ntyFoGTO/1172660471_extras_fotos_del_dia_0.jpg
This is a tough "stay busy" fight for Miguel. Should he win this easily on the cards? Yes. Will he have a much tougher fight then the scorecards indicate? Yes. Gomez is gonna bring it, and he is a tough little dude. He is willing to take a beating to land his punches, has an iron chin, and keeps coming forward. I believe Gomez is a live dog, but I think Miguel is a notch or two better. This is boxing, and anything can happen, but I think Miguel wins by a wide UD, in a war. This could be a fight of the year candidate, and I hope that Gomez making it competitive don't bring out the Cotto haters. Is it the fight I wanted Miguel to take, after his biggest win? No Is it gonna be a tougher fight then most people think? Yes If Cotto wins this, I hope Arum matches him up with another title holder, Margo or PBF. Anything less is bull****.
Gomez throws a lot of punches. His average is in the 85-100 range per round, and he puts them together well.
Gomez' manager should be shot! There is a world of difference between a Faded Gatti & a prime Cotto! Gomez has potential but putting him in for a beating like this may even jepardise his career. A crossroads fight with Chavez Jr. would have been the much better choice for Gomez. Because of Gomez' heart he will take a prolonged beating at the hands of Miguel Cotto.
Gomez hits as hard as Judah, Mosley and Torres? What the **** is wrong with you?...I hope you're joking, because that statement was freaking ridiculousatsch
