Calm down, GBP are testing the waters with Alvarez popularity & loyal fanbase, this PPV will measure how big Alvarez currently is.

The PPV will sell pretty well in my area (SoCal has tons of Mexican fight fans, some of my best friends). Unless the undercard is completely stacked, though, it falls into the "maybe" category with me. If I have something else going on, it won't kill me to wait a week and watch it on HBO.

If you're looking for big names, then this fight doesn't carry the huge headliners.

But if you want a main event that is going to be an excellent fight that you will be sorry you missed, then this is your fight.

    Martinez - Williams 1
    Williams - Margarito

Were both good ****ing fights from start to finish. These are the type of fights, believe it or not, that could actually turn some people into fans of the sport.

They can't let Alverez do big numbers because it will be used as evidence Floyd isn't as big a star PPV wise as he likes to make out and it was a stacked card that did the numbers.

Yes, and if it were on HBO, would turn MORE, since those who are going to buy are already obviously fans.

I am expecting an excellent fight BTW. Just haven't decided if I'm paying or waiting to see for free.

Agreed. This is the type of matchup people want to see. You just sold me on it. I'm feeling a night of BBQ and fights.

This PPV is a joke... Why doesn't Canelo fight Kirkland? I don't wanna pay 50$ to see him feast on Lara's leftovers!

You're the one bitching, not me. This fight with a decent undercard is ppv worthy.

I will be purchasing this fight, and so will lots of others, yet a lot of ***s including you ***get keep complaining. Never happy.
