Bradley beat Alexander - an "undefeated" boxer also holding a major belt (Bradley having already unified at 140lbs before this).
Khan beat Judah - A good victory, but ignoring hindsight, I'd assume many would consider Alexander the better victory. I also rate Khan's victory over Maidana above that of Judah (although I thought stylistically, Judah could possibly cause more problems).

It's like people completely forget what has happened after a fight weekend.

yeah but hes second at 140 , and above him p4p that doesnt make sense i mean if the ring want to make kahn no.1 at 140 they have to rate him above tim p4p right ?

After Mayweather beat Mosley. Ring had him #1 @ WW...yet Pacquiao was still #1 P4P.

Top 10ers Kotelnik, Malignaggi, Maidana, Judah and two undefeated fighters in between Salita and McCloskey. Khan's on a great run at 140.

Whether it's better than Bradley's recent wins, is a matter of opinion. I personally think it is.

Alexander was really on the level of Kotelnik, and Maidana, Malignaggi, Judah beats Witter, Peterson and Holt.

Khan should be ahead of Bradley on both lists for me. Bradley's only that high because it's a transition period on the P4P lists with established fighters moving out of it recently like Hopkins, Mosley, Mayweather.

I think P4P they couldn't move him down simply because he wasn't fighting, as he hasn't lost a fight and the others behind didn't have any significant enough victories.

However at 140 it was very easy to move Khan over him as he ducked Khan and unashamedly admitted so and Khan destroyed the other champ in one of the most impressive victories in the division in recent times at the top level.

thread start is right, it's stupid

the Pac-Mayweather situation was completely different cause Pac is just a tiny WW who could easily fight at 140 if he wants and maybe even 135. Bradley cannot go below 140.

Pac-Mayweather situation was completely different, am not arguing who should be ranked number 1, bradley or khan, am asking if khan is ahead of bradley at 140 why not P4P.

I know it's completely different, I was just highlighting the difference between the two rankings...being ranked #1 in your weightclass does not automatically put you ahead of another boxer in your weightclass P4P.

A valid point is highlighted below...

I don't even think Bradley should be so far up in the P4P rankings. Neither him or Khan are top 10, in my opinion.

Maybe Ring magazine knows something we don't, as in, Bradley has already signed to fight someone at 147, signalling his vacating of the 140lb titles (along with his lww ranking), whilst maintaining his P4P ranking.

Sounds a bit too logical for boxing mind.

Because Khan has one loss on his resume and Bradley has none. Also because Bradley has fought a pretty decent fighter at 147 as well. That's why Bradley is higher in the P4P ranking.

The 140 ranking however, is solely about their fights in the 140 weight class. At 140, Khan has the better resume.
