Lee Wylie is a fat bald guy who never boxed and probably never even played a sport in his entire life. He's just some guy that watches boxing then he goes on youtube and acts like he knows everything about boxing. Then Ben Davison pays this guy to come up with tactics for him because he knows he can't come up with tactics himself. Name another trainer that would pay a youtuber to come up with gameplans for him. How pathetic is that honestly

Ben Davison is an ex-footballer turned personal trainer who was friends with Billy Joe Saunders. He played for Stevenage, where Saunders is from. When Fury wanted to get the weight off, Saunders put him in touch with Fury as he was a decent personal trainer and could help Fury get fit.

Fury allowed Davison to be his trainer but fired him when he needed to. Davison got himself in with Kinahan and MTK, got gifted the MTK performance centre in Essex (now called Ben Davison Performance Centre) and got handed some MTK fighters to train.

Fair play, he’s absolutely blagged it and has somehow ended up training some of the UK’s best fighters whilst making good money, but he’s clueless. ‘Feints and fluidity, championship mentality.’ It’s like somebody’s given him a boxing phrase book and he just reads from it when his fighters is in trouble.

Davidsons advice for AJ to ' roll the dice and use the uppercut' for the 5th round was pretty naff.

Considering everything, what was he actually thinking?

    Lol

    So his resume is:

    Tyson Fury (fired him)
Josh Taylor (looked like **** since linking up, career might be over)
AJ (just got sparko'd, career might be over)

Head trainer and chief second haven't had a single fight between the pair of them. Amazing.

It´s not the worst idea, but you need a capable trainer to implement those tactics or put the knowledge to good use. Davidson is not that guy.

I used to watch a fair bit of Fouts Boxing and his breakdowns were often pretty good, especially if you know little of tactics and whatnot. Doesn´t mean that he would make for a good trainer.
I really like his breakdown on the evolution of Canelo and why he started punching harder. It´s right on the money.

This is how I see it, too. How does the trainer implement with the fighter? How is the training camp planned? How do they communicate during the fight? Tactics are just one part of the puzzle.

The blame the trainer for Joshua's losses game is getting so tiresome.

Yes, they are frauds who DKSAB, same for boxing analysts like Fouts Boxing

To put this into perspective, imagine some guy who has been doing his own repairs and works on his car, an hobbiest mechanist if you will, this guy watches a bunch of videos, maybe reads a bunch of Wikipedia articles about F1 racing, and now suddenly feels he's qualified to design, operate, and repair an F1 racing car.

It's actually worse because this guy doesnt even box has an hobby, anyone who has competed on an amateur level can feel that everything these types say is wrong, or off.

Seriously, it's pathetic man, the first time I saw this Fouts guy hitting the heavy bag, giving his inbred description of what is "pendulum stepping" (hint: it has nothing to do with what he calls a pendulum step), his lack of balance, his complete ignorance of body mechanics and how this relates to boxing, his absolute inexperience with the psychosomatic aspects of boxing...

This is actually mind boggling, how an Olympic gold medalist, who should at this point be a "Master of Sport" in boxing, gets strung along by these absolute DKSABers, it completely shows a lack of fundamental knowledge and an education gap in the British school of boxing.

You'd NEVER see a soviet country or a Cuban Olympian get strung along by one of these clowns, their education and upbringing in the art would let them recognize from a mile that these people are clowns, they'd laugh and stare them with a puzzled look like they just listened to a mentally impaired person go on an intellectual masturbatory discourse about nuclear physics.

Lee Wylie stole all his boxing ideas from Mathew Fouts, he is signed up to Fouts patreon but doesn`t truly understand what Fouts is saying, AJ needs to fire this fraud immediately.

Fouts is an even worse fraud than Ben Davidson, atleast Davidson is a proven PE teacher and capable of holding fat camps, Fouts is a clueless LARPer, the guy clearly has mental issues - he's the Charlie zelenoff of boxing coaches
