Since they were both scheduled to be on Greens undercard before he dogged everyone and **** himself realising it was time again to fight someone who will actually hit back.

Your lack of respect for one of Australia's better fighters is pretty ordinary. It is a dangerous sport. If his hearts not 100% committed to the cause, you'd still want him to risk his life for your entertainment?

To answer your original question, Lovett's trainer posted on another forum they are presently trying to organise something for him. Don't know about Cool Willie.

Well hey it's fine for him have no respect for his fans but he is happy to retire and live a great life with our money that was used to fund it, so i'll say what i think just as he did what the **** he did.

I'd much rather he retired before putting up a dodgy effort. It's not tiddly-winks, people's lives get ruined by this game.

Maybe true, but it rubs salt inthe wound when just days before etc he was on radios and in the papers saying how much he loved fighting and all the plans he had, then hearing from him and others about how fast and sharp he was punching in training.

It wouldn't be the first time a fighter has talked a good game before a fight. His health is the main concern at the end of the day, and that's the way it should be.

There's no problem with him retiring, just feel ripped off as an Aussie boxing fan that he has.

Looking at the way Tarver beat woods easily today, i reckon Tarver probably wld have done the same to Green. Probably turned out for the better that he fought that lanky dog from Europe.

Why? There's plenty happening from an Aussie point of view right now.

Lets hope Green gives back to australia boxing as much as he has received. How about more Foxsports boxing televised in australia per year?

With the miss matches they usually show, no thanks, seems the guys who have a half decent name these days fight on un televised fights, like Medleys recent rematch etc, instead we get Sakio doin what Mundine does bring over an import that takes a dive when there is guys that live in the same state that would make a great headliner.

What on earth do you mean? Danny's not responsible for the amount of boxing Fox shows in a year.

I don't think i have watched a fox live show in 2 years, i usually record them and fast forward through most of the ****, so basically it only takes 10 mins to watch a whole show after skipping through all the ****.

Kickett will be fighting on FOX on May 30 & Porky Lovett will be on the Mundine vs Soliman undercard.
