Canelo won't be making $40+ million like Mayweather did.

Maybe, maybe not. That's purely a guess on your part. I'm betting GBP sees this fight doing around 700K buys.

Canelo destroys Cotto, so no point talking about the Floyd rematch down the road (no one wants to see the rematch anyway).
Cotto's hungry for that 4th title in a 4th division to make PR history, so if GB offer him Quillen then fair enough BUT the Martinez fight is way more intruging & generates more interest/money. Also TR have some attractive fights for him should he beat Martinez.

Bradley is not a draw. Canelo and Cotto are both A side fighters. They both also bring a strong fan base. And GBP has shown to be very good at promoting PPVs.

How the hell does the Cotto-Martinez fight generate more money? You just heard they're offering him over $10 million to fight Canelo. Cotto won't get $10 million to fight Martinez.

This, plus you have the Mexico-PR rivalry thing going on with this one. Cotto-Margarito II did 600k buys, and Canelo's a bigger star now than Margarito ever was. Dildo is clearly just butthurt because GBP is luring Cotto away from Uncle Bob.

It won't, but I believe he's saying it would generate more than Cotto-Quillin, which I'm sure it would.

Cotto best stay with Top Rank.GBP has done Cotto no favours and only themselves in lining their pockets and getting Cotto beaten twice in two outings.Fu ck GBP and hang in with HBO.

I don't know about that I'm not to high on Cotto but his experience could be a big factor in this fight, although Cotto isn't prime he is still a HOF caliber fighter with a good IQ .
Alvarez is also a competent boxer and we all know if it goes to decision Alvarez takes it regardless unless its a landslide right now its a toss up at JMW maybe its the way i scored the Cotto-Trout/Alvarez-Trout/Mayweather-Alvarez bouts. I think this could be a sneakily good fight possibly even close enough for a rematch. Alvarez probably takes this match-up though, Alvarez probably beats everyone a JMW right now so if he blows Cotto out that's a BIG statement

He received a career high payday working with GBP in a fight that TR couldn't or wouldn't put together, and he caught two way worse beatings while working with TR. Also, what fight can TR offer him that will pay as much as a Canelo fight? A Pacquiao rematch maybe, but Pacquiao won't fight him above 147. Nothing else TR can offer him would be nearly as lucrative as the Canelo fight GBP is offering.

...And if you think Arum and TR are any less concerned with lining their own pockets and any more concerned with Cotto's then you're a fool.

Cotto has made more money and success with Top Rank than he has with GBP.Top Rank invested heavily in Cotto and promoted him flawlesly throughout his career-something that GBP didn't do.:deal
