He's still a hard puncher just not as big a hitter as he was at 140. Remember even at 140 he was never considered to have one punch knockout power just a very heavy hitter that stalks his opponents relentlessly. However, if he knocks Clottey out cold I'll definitely reconsider my position on this issue.

I dont know about this, I heard Andre Berto was going to fight Judah on the undercard of Williams-Quintana on February 9th. Boxing after dark.

Zab has the tools to out box Margarito but does he have the intangibles? Its the eternal question. I'm not a Margo fan but understand that his determination and size will make Zab perform for 12.

Great post, theres diference between heavy hitter (Cintron) and relentless puncher, one can net you a KO victory and another one can get you TKO one. Cotto is definetly relentless puncher, I didnt see zab hurt in their fight except that one knockdown where he had hard time getting up , by hurt I mean on ***** street, he was hurt to the body alot tho and that showed.
Margarito on the other hand showed in his last fight that he can realy deal some punishment when he lands cleanly, that doesnt mean that hes better than Cotto, that just means he hits harder.

He doesn't have the intangibles nor the stamina.

And Margo hits harder than Cotto - that's is for whoever was saying otherwise...

Margarito will beat the shaky-chinned Judah up and knock him out. All Judah has beaten lately are tomato cans. Feather-fisted journeyman Baldomir rocked him. This will be a BRUTAL KO for Margarito.

Judah would beat Berto. Berto has nothing over him.

Well, Margo has the better chin & workrate. Cotto is quicker and technically better with a greater variety of punches.

If I'm honest, I pick Margo to beat Cotto. Not so much because he's better than Cotto, but his strengths mean Cotto will struggle unless Cotto is a class above, which I'm not entirely sure he is.

Intangibles is his eternal question and the majority answer is NO!!

As for Margo hitting harder? OK. so what? His eternal question is can HE LAND IT with his no jab, walk in, free swinging, looping attack?
Zab has the tools and Margarito isnt anywhere near as accurate as Cotto.

In the end? I have to favor Margarito's consistency over Zab's inconsistency. Yet, this isnt a blow out for Margarito, at least not early on. If he gets a KO? It's gonna be late in the fight.
