So are they taking away headgears in the Amateurs or what?

    I heard a little while ago that they were taking away the use of headgears. Is this true or just talks?

    The headgears were already removed before the 2013 World championships, which was without the headgear. Old news if you follow Olympic/amateur boxing.

    I never liked headgear. It gave a false sense of security. All it really helped was it stopped a lot of cuts. The damage from blows with or without headgear in minimal

    Words is they're bringing it to the pro on the advice of Floyd Mayweather.

    Floyd also has asked if he can wear body armour Vegas apparently Ok'd it too

    I heard he did put plaster casts in his gloves that's why he has to cheat & use xylocaine on his hands Stupid idiot lol

    You're right, Floyd is using feathers instead of bricks:lol:.

    Doesn't matter how hard you hit it just equal to a jab. The surprise is Floyd still did a chicken dance from a Maidana jab :lol:.

    down in aus we still use it.. i think once you compete at a certain level they take it away
