So are we going to give Wide UD's to fighters who don't try and hurt their opponent?

This post-fight is hilariously similar to Donaire-Rigondeaux, right down to the crying about scoring criteria and the post-fight shoulder excuse. At least no one tries to pretend Donaire won that fight anymore, so hopefully this too will subside even though I doubt it.

Must have missed it where it said it is too hurt, I always thought it was to hit and not get hit , even so even the delusional who say pac hurt mayweather in rd 4 does that really mean he should be awarded a whole fight, pac was a broken man after the fight u could see it in his eyes:yep

Agreed. That's why I said "much more egregious" this time around.

Floyd's tactic was running away and making his opponent miss. That's not how boxers won fights throughout history.

It's not hit and not get hit.

    That's amateur boxing.

Professional boxing is about hurting your opponent.

Like I said, he got caught in the process while swinging and missing.

Pacman is to be blamed. Hypothetically speaking, all he really had to do was through 3-4 combos in every round in that situation.

Of course, in reality if he did that then Floyd wouldn't have been as laid back. He would have adjusted in a manner to win the rounds.

This is what Floyd does - he wins rounds. He won't do more than he has to. Efficient, smart, and yes, boring, which is why fans don't like it but he walks away unscathed, healthy and loaded with money.

If the punches have so little on them (like I said) then why is taking the punch such a bad idea?

Do you honestly wake up in the morning and believe any human being would be willingly wanting to take punches in the face if he can avoid them, the reason pac is in toe to toe exchanges is because he doesn't have the skills of mayweather to not block punches constantly with his face, yet somehow that makes him brave

Yeah, just adding my opinion to yours.

All in all the whole fight sucked and nobody comes out of it well.
