I think the sport will have a bright future, even when Floyd and Manny retire.

There's an ocean of talent among the upcoming prospects in just about every weight class.

They didn't even fight at welter... but an impressive victory nonetheless.

There are a lot of talent between these two divisions...... A lot of these fighters can campaign at either weight class so this move is interesting to say the least. It creates a lot of ripples in the sport that opens up more fights. Luckily for Manny he's proven to be one of the best boxers at 147 and even though it's been years since his last fight at 140 it's most likely his natural weight class where he can maximize his attributes. Like Floyd fighting between 154 and 147......PAC an easily do the same between 140 and 147. I think it's a good move since both divisions are talent rich.

I don't mind Pac moving down to 140, I have a problem with him fighting lightweights at 140, and his fans making it seem like these lightweights are bigger than him.

khan for one has an exclusive contract with showtime that is why him and pac wasn't made.

espinoza said, if khan was to have fought pacquiao it would have to have been on showtime.

i think all them high profile haymon fighters also have the same exclusive deal. their fights would have to be on showtime which ain't going to fly with tr and hbo.

I'll be glad when they both retire and out of boxing for good.

Dude I'm a JMM fan but he's 40 & would lose to every WW in the top 10 most of Bradley's credit in that is because Marquez just KO'd Pac, even still Marquez arguably beat Pac everytime they fought so him winning the 4th fight wasn't that huge a surprise how he won definitely but not that he won.
