So at his peak Pac was selling 1Mil ppvs making 20-25 Mil, is that what GGG wants?

GGG wants to get paid accordingly for the biggest fight that can be made in boxing. Name a realistic fight that can be made that will carry more buzz than GGG-Canelo.

Manny was a bonafide superstar. Most of his fights were against really good fighters, plenty of which were big enough to think he was too small to end their careers. He ended many.

Fighters around 160 know if they get in the ring with Golovkin, there's a very good chance he derails/ends their career.

 

lets see how ggg does in his 2nd ppv. hed better do at least 400k

 

Canelo-Chavez

 

Doesn't need to do 400K. Canelo does 250-300 against an unknown on a Mexican holiday.

I personally think GGG should make concessions to make the fight happen but let's be honest. Canelo is nowhere near the star Floyd or Manny were. He needs a dance partner to do numbers (and hence get big money) They could fight a bum and get 25+ mil and 1+ mil PPV.

Let's hope common sense prevails. Give him 30%. Win win for everyone.

And I think it does 1.5 mil +. And the fight will be a cracker and Canelo has a great chance of winning IMO

he should take the 15 million and be thankful

 

So Canelo did 250-300 and ggg did 150k.
But when they meet it does 1.5m?
A bit optimistic don't you thunk?

Do we even know if Golovkin turned it down for a fact or if he just hasn't agreed to it yet? I don't think he could even realistically agree to anything until Canelo is healthy anyway since Golovkin is probably going to take two fights in the meantime.
