Not the same Cotto really, he didn't come out with that blazing fury.

Does Cotto have faster handspeed and longer reach now via a trainer switch?

Still don't see him giving Floyd any problems whatsoever.

DRod v Wolak were some great fights, but lets calm down.

No but you can negate a taller and longer fighter's jab by vaulting yourself in low bodily with speed-gaining avalanche hooks downstairs forcible enough to make someone get on the ropes without their consent. Granted it's night and day between doing this with Rodriguez and doing so with Mayweather, but he did manage shades of it last time with PBF...and given the way he committed to it against Rodriguez with a conviction and purpose not seen from him in years it's hardly inconceivable he could have a little more success doing that with Mayweather now than he did last time. Yes, a little more than a little still isn't a lot hut we're talking a little more than anyone else has managed on Floyd in a ****'s age. I am by no means suggesting Mayweather vs. Cotto II would be a pick em, quite the opposite...but it would be more competitive than Mayweather vs. any top super welter you can think of among those who could realistically B-side a PPV with him. (and, talented h2h though he may be, that doesn't include the one remote threat in the division based on styles: Lara)

why are ppl acting like cotto wouldn't have floyd on the ropes again?

slow footed guerrero and canelo had him there. i'm quite sure cotto would too. and with a more offensive minded roach in his corner...i think the rematch plays out way differently.

one thing is for sure...cotto going up to fight and possibly beat martinez is something floyd or his fans weren't too keen on. everyone and their momma was talking about sergio is too big for floyd blah,blah,blah...but what happens if cotto beats martinez?

Then we can have Money vs Cotto 2 and the haters can go home mad again.

:rofl Floyd barely was on the ropes and when he was on the ropes he quickly hit both guerrero and canelo with counter shots and then move out of the way. Floyd in his last 2 fights look like the prime Floyd that actually has legs which everybody thought Floyd legs was gone. In the rematch with the new improved cotto wont beat a new improved mayweather. Mayweather is too quick and way better defender. His movement will give cotto trouble.
