So, based on decisions, who is the fighter of the year so far?

Well, you guys can keep being deluded, that's fine, it's your choice!!!

Many had it 114-113 Ward. It was that close.

But I can possibly see it a draw, 114-113 Kovalev.

    That's all you're getting.

The 3rd round was the ultimate round changer for me.

    Either way, NO ROBBERY!!

I got SOG, But "Bud" still has a chance to pull it off IF he takes out Molina in impressive fashion. (Have the final big win of the year)

K even if that WAS the case, that's still 114-113 for Kovalev with the KD being the difference. It's 1 point, not a robbery by any means when 3, 12 were so close.

To give ward Kovalev's belts is quite sickening and outrageous. He didnt beat Kovalev. So therefore hes not the champion, kovalev still is. Im actually pretty annoyed and this bias from the judges. So even though i dont dislike ward, he gets no credit for carrying the belts, but it wasnt his fault it was American Boxings fault.

No that was wards. 7,8,9,11 easily wards. and round 5. where he did outland KRUSHER whilst kovalev was doing much back, Hey props to ward, tough as hell and heart of a champ but he lost. And unless he beats kovalev in the rematch convincely hes not the Champ in my eyes. Sergey KRUSHER Kovalev is.

I don't think Rigondeaux does himself any favors to be honest. Most of the top fighters down there are with Al Haymon, and he signed with Roc Nation who don't do business with Haymon. Also when he's been in fights on big platforms he almost seemed to purposely stink out the joint (like on the Cotto-Canelo card).

When a guy who draws like Frampton does, he also got to be willing to take a less % than the sanctioning body demands. I heard he was unwilling to budge on the 55-45 split in his favor the WBA demanded, so even if he stop at Jr Featherweight Frampton would've probably earned more fighting his IBF mandatory Shingo Wake.

He may be avoided by the top fighters but I'm quite sure he could've found better opposition than the last 3 fighters he faced. The Lomachenko fight was on the table last year and he didn't take it. He also turned down Jamie McDonnell for the James Dickens fight and allied himself with Boxnation in the UK (which basically would rule him out of a Quigg fight too). And doing stuff like not getting his Visa sorted will just make promoters think he's a nightmare to work with.

I think Rigondeaux needs to do something like Kell Brook did when he was struggling to get big fights- he needs to prove he wants them. I think he's getting paid handily by Roc Nation regardless of who he fights, so part of me thinks he's kind of glad Frampton didn't fight him.
