Sorry Floyd second title at 154lbs he won weighing 151Lbs from Cotto who weighed 154lbs and beat Foreman for it who beat Santos for it.

Pac won a vacant title fighting at a catch weight of 150 vs Margo who had also never fought at the weight before, come on man lets be real here. THEY ARE NOT THE SAME!!

man come on now. You're usually a decent poster, but this is bull****

Floyd fought the number 1 ranked guy at 154 at the full weight for his title which was defended multiple times.

Pac fought for a vacant title against an unranked fighter

Be warned: You're arguing with an irrational Pac Fan prone to making up things when presented with facts or reality.

    Proceed with caution.

On esb every title and champion is a fraud. Every fighter has somehow caught nobodies their entire career. PAC is a fraud. Cotto is trash. Floyd cherry picks. Sergio hasn't taught anyone. Andre ward doesn't travel. B hop only foghts smaller guys. Tired of it all and I have to imagine I'm not alone

I know that, but undefeated to me doesn't mean undefeatable. Cotto entered a talent rich division when he entered welterweight, in other words, he raised the competition level up a bar. All those of that generation entered the division with perfect or near perfect records. Within two years they all lost their zeros or near perfect winning streaks. That is, everyone except the guy who retired for those two years.

 For christ sakes....it was Yuri Foreman.:rofl I'm sorry but if PAC beat Yuri for the title you all would have been laughing your asses off because of who he beat to win his 8th title in as many divisions.

Listen....All I'm saying is that PAC faced Marg for the vacant title...and yes it was a catch weight fight but that doesn't change the fact the fight was fought for a title. I give him credit. You all can slice it and dice it any way you want but it still doesn't change the fact PAC won his 8th world title in 8 divisions by beating Marg.

Now....I still give Floyd credit for his titles at 154 and I admit his win over DLH was far better than PAC's over Marg....it meant more, plain and simple.

But Cotto winning his 154 strap against Yuri is NOT better than PAC's win over Marg for the title. You can try to make it seem like Yuri was some monster if you want but it's not something most will agree with....actually no one would agree with it.

Yuri had actually won his title legitimately and Cotto went and defeated him for it. Then he defended the title a couple of times before being dethroned by Floyd.

Cotto was more of a champion at 154 than Canelo is.

Floyd should ask Guererro to fight him @154...
That way RG can make history beating the old man.

What do you mean "Legitimately"? PAC won his "Legitimately". Catch weight fights are "LEGITIMATE". They are still governed and sanctioned like any other professional boxing match.

If you are talking about the quality of the opponent PAC, Cotto or Floyd faced in order to win that title then we are on the same page. Santos won his title from Alcine....he didn't even defend his title before losing it to Yuri. For a LONG time 154 was a weak ass division and has only just recently gotten some talent.

Cotto defended his title against Marg and Tony....the Marg fight was a catch weight fight. It was legitmate....but on that note so was the fight between PAC and Marg.

it's a tough for to pick tbh, but I've gone over it before and discussed it with my dog Leon and others and I think Cotto would beat Canelo with his footwork, jab and experience

Pacquiao jumped to a division that neither he or Margarito were even ranked in to fight for a vacant title at a cathweight because he couldn't make the real weight.

That crappy fight is like Canelo fighting Mayorga at 157 for a vacant Middleweight title
