    40 y/o Golovkin vs 30 y/o Canelo @ 156.5 lbs:patsch

GGG and his team are fooled.

I hope they didn't go that low. I doubt Golovkin can handle the drain.

Seems like it... this is the scenario I didn't expect, because I really thought they were smarter than that.
You should have expected they would have learned by now after being played for years and years :-(

I thought GGG would enforce his mandatory status to fight Canelo @ 160 or get stripped.

Golovkin's prime and top shape eventually will fade away till this fight will get made.

Who knows, maybe K2 try to negotiate a decent c/w but even if the fight happens @ 158-159 lbs it's still bullsh*t since is for the middleweight lineal / WBC full title.

The way GGG has be treated over the years is a total disgrace. It's little wonder mainstream sports fans have turned their back on boxing.

    It's run like a post-colonial banana republic.

He's never boiled down for a fight, and he's always got a little flap under his belly button that he could take off in camp.

    Truth be told.....

I think he could do 150 if he absolutely had to.:think

Probably but he would not be so effective and lethal as he is @ 160 lbs.

  11. More like that same Banana republic that has cut any western ties and is overrun with greedy warlords that control all the food and let the people starve.

GGG has an OBLIGATORY defense this yr vs Johnson.

Thats gonna take time to put together and recover from.

Then, he's got Lee should he come thru vs BJS, which Im certain they will make for Cinco de Mayo on PPV alongside Canelo v Bradley.

The PPV exposure on a Canelo/Bradley undercard, alongside with GGG fighting a much more KNOWN opponent should launch this PPV over 700K buys and bring GGG/Lee a 10 mil split, while Canelo/Bradley will enjoy a 20-25 mil split.

That would still allow room to bring Chocolatito close to 3 mil for his fight.

What a CARD Oscar/K2/Bob would be putting on.:thumbsup
Might cost us in the $75 range, but I'd be buying.:thumbsup

The truth is Canelo has all the advantages since is the man in boxing and also he's the lineal mw champion.

K2 probably would try to make this fight happen close to the middlweight limit, maybe 157-158 lbs since is clearly that Canelo won't fight GGG @ 160 lbs.

At 158 Golovkin would not be so drained.

:D Lee/Saunders winner will probably milk that title on PBC, then fight Jacobs. They don't want to get goodboy'ed then go to oblivion.

Seems that only option for GGG is to drain himself and fight Canelo. :-(
