This would be a good fight for the British title, but I suppose it will be for Clev's extremely prestigious "World Champ" title. At least there will be the excitement of a bit of verbal at the press conference and weigh in, and of course the obligatory Bellew arselicking on here. I suppose it will be PPV as well...
Murats a strong ****er mate no doubt, maybe even stronger than Bellew but I'm telling you now his one punch power is nowhere near as good. If he had that 'Devastating' a punch he'd have flattened Cleverley with the amount of flush shots he landed
Yep that's his problem. He's reckless and has that nasty streak in his eyes which you know means he wants a fight. He had no need to get involved with Murat at all but he loves to prove a point
Fair play to both fighters for getting it on if and when it happens...:good I think that Bellew will have to come through a few scrapes but will beat Cleverley, just to much power...:bbb
i'v yet to witness the supposed devastating power of bellew, he has been through 15 bums and only KO'd 10 of them and in the process got dropped by a none puncher, i don't rate him hes slow fisted and predictable, there's nothing about him which i couldn't see any1 above domestic level wouldn't be able to handle.
Each to their own pal. All 'opinions' of course. But the only way to see who's right is them fighting which it's looking more and more likely they will :good :Edit - Less of the 'bums' though eh lad. Poor choice of word for people risking their health by stepping between the ropes :good
I used to be a fan of Tony, but after his last fight he went from 'loveable rogue' to 'deluded git' in my eyes. All that screaming in the ring & telling anyone who would listen how he "put on a masterclass" when he stunk the joint out... boys head is getting too big IMO, & for the first time, I could see why Cleverly gets so bloody annoyed with him! Its a 50/50 fight in my eyes though as I think Cleverly & Bellew are pretty level pegging. Good brit title scrap, but hey ho, boxing is what it is nowadays!
my birthday on oct 1st , and the merseyside derby too, . . . . . AND barker vs martinez! so this would be a great day 4 me if this is on ! everton, bellew, barker treble would be a great b;day prezzie for me :bbb
I definitely think bellews power is overrated and he is deluded to the point of thinking he is the biggest punching 175 pounder ever (at least he was thinking that under farnell), but we are talking about a guy who was rocked badly by kuziemski.
Rocked badly equals took a shot and fired straight back goading kuziemski to hit him harder.... lol atsch
Matchroom have Rees v Matthews that night so could ****** put on a tv show the same night? Good fight though
sorry if i'm coming across in a really poor way, iv not been happy with wath iv seen with bellew, he's a passionate fighter but he talks a massive amount of **** and doesn't have the skills to back it up, he threatened to send mckenzie in a hospital, and scraped a decision over a domestic journeyman type fighter. the reason why most ppl respect him on here is more to do with his personality and fighting talk rather then actual talent.
