Can someone explain the difference between floyds fight tonight and pretty much every single bhop fight. I had this same issue with the kell brook fight. Since when did so many people have an issue with "holding"? Every boxer does it to a degree. Tonight in my opinion was fine. Didn't have any issue with it.
Then go and watch John Ruiz fight , ive got no time for it. Left hand , head butt , hold then repeat.
BHOP taking a dangerous fight next, unless Floyd takes PAC or GGG then he aint the same, money gonna take on Queen Khan "wow Khan is so fast" yeah but hes also ****
1. It was a PPV fight: people paid $78 to see the fight so there is an expectation to get value for that money. 2. Bhop has gotten plenty of criticism for his holding over the years. But he has now gotten to the stage where he is so old that people give him a pass, and probably rightfully so. And his fights were $78 a pop. 3. Floyd is the self-proclaimed TBE. When he is as arrogant as he is (and as good) the standards to judge him are higher and rightfully so. 4. The ref let Mayweather away with pushing down on Maidana and broke them up on the inside fairly often where Maidana might have an advantage: Also he deducted a point from Maidana for not very much and made a huge deal about the biting incident when he didn't see anything.
why do few people ever mention that ali and holmes held as much as anyone? it just depends on ones aganda.
Bhop gets **** for being boring and dirty, but he's old as hell and has to make up for his deteriorating reflexes, so it's understandable Floyd is still relatively young, P4P king, and supposedly TBE. and he's fighting subpar opposition. so he gets no pass.
ggg. the man thats scared to mention hopkins & wards names? but calls out a welterweight? pac, the man that ran from tests, only to take margaret goodmans 3 yrs later?
