This fight wouldn't be nearly as easy as many of you think. Haye is good, but he's also got a lot of holes in his game. And if any lighter fighter can take advantage of them it's Hopkins.

 

Hopkins only hope would be with the headbutt when he rushes in.

 

Bopins is stealing money from the fight game and if he had any integrity (which he has'nt) he'd retire.

He should never get another fight and certainly not a money fight however, if he were to fight Haye he would be horizontal in the 2nd.

Agreed. He and Nazim make a dangerous team and B-Hop, as a result, would exploit every single weakness(minor or major) that Haye has ever exhibited. It would definitely be a closer fight than people think.

I'm assuming you're a Haye fan. So, why wouldn't you want the fight. This fight could make Haye an international superstar. It could also set up the first heavyweight mega fight in years. If I were a Haye fan I'd be clamoring for this fight. Honestly, he isn't gonna make a name for himself outside of the UK by beating no names like Ruiz and Valuev.

This should not happen. Last night Hopkins proves it is all about his agenda. He is a crafty guy, but really when he lost to Calzaghe, he was the loser in that fight. It is not like he won that fight. Do I think he has a chance vs. Haye? Maybe. If Haye fights erratic and undisciplined like he did a little against Ruiz yesterday he could lose. Haye has to fight his jabbing and counterpunching fight. I think Hopkins should retire. 45 is too old to be fighting. Jones should retire also. Neither guy looked great yesterday and that is why all the fouls.
