So billys gone?

The irony was that my main complaint was the standard of opposition Ricky was facing. He steps up (not even to elite level in that division) and gets soundly beaten by Beltran; Yet I'm the bad person for telling Billy to shut the **** up about calling Burns the best LW in the world.

Mmmmmmmmkay.

 

Billy Nelson must be very touched that you miss him so much. Still now he is gone you are left on your own.

Perhaps with the time you have available, without Billy around, you can get down to your local boxing club and train a young boxer to a championship standard. It shouldn't be difficult with your eye for the game.

We all know that Billy can make a fool of himself on here sometimes but how many people on here have achieved what he and Ricky have in boxing?

There is a lot of guys with anonymous internet personas who are more than happy to rip into the likes of Billy Nelson.

Maybe we need Joe Gallagher, Shane Mcguigan, Jim McDonnell and Brendan Ingle to all join the forum so that the no mark's flak can be spread around evenly.

Americans by example are more open to discussion - good or bad - and see & recognize one another's views , consider them and continue dialoguing, so do many other cultures.

But hey not us Brits, Billy was an addition to a forum, sure, but he was also a bigmouth who disregarded anyone who didn't have Ricky on his throne. He spewed a lot of disrespect out to others and brought some back on himself. But initially people were only making observations as fans, some very knowledgeable fans too.

but in true British fashion everybody else is a _unt & wrong when challenged, so now that many peoples worries about Burns were shown to be true again, the loudmouth side of him can't take it, so the easy out in his mind is typical of a lot of us islanders, sad to say!

he should just come on hear, recognise a few people might have been right, consider some of the observations, acknowledge people like a polite respectful _unt and get on with it!

 

Its shite that this forum hasnt gotten to the point where none of the pro's we had on here 2/3 years ago nor the trainers are longer around.

All posting on here, interacting with fans, doing Q+A sessions, inviting posters to their gyms to watch them train/spar etc etc.

Now the majority have been driven off this forum by trolls who love nothing more than spouting abuse at them from behind the safety of their keyboard. Half of these trolls have been invited down to the respective gyms to meet the trainers/fighters themselves and watch the work they do however most have copped out with the 'I aint going to a gym to get battered of 'said' person. Like a pro fighter/coach would actually do anything to them.
Wouldn't it have been refreshing to see at least one of these little turds just man the **** up and go down there and see for themselves the level of hardwork these boys put into the sport. Now instead they get driven off these forums and most decent posters who want to engage in discussions with them (something which is unheard of outside of boxing in pro sport) have now missed out on it.

This isnt really directed to anyone on here these days as most of the decent posters have gone elsewhere and with it some of the biggest wankers that were on here too. Billy brought most of the shite on himself it has to be said. He engaged in this ****, and was probably as bigger troll as some of the regular posters at times, however it was always good to talk with him when he wasnt being baited/baiting others.

This used to be a wicked site, however due to keyboard warriors out to make a name for themselves threatening or abusing pro's in the sport and the ****s who ran the forum recently (Boxing Girl etc) this site is now abysmal.

(Edit: Anyone know of other fighters/trainers who posted which I missed let me know and i'll update the list. Be interesting to see exactly what we've lost out on as fans of an already 'niche' sport)

 

He was one of the main reasons I visited this forum. Pretty disappointed to see him go.

I don't see it that I am slagging him off. I gave him a hard time over him calling Burns the best and I have been vindicated in my views. Had he demolished Beltran, Billy would have given me all kinds of ****.
